We work with poor women and gender-diverse individuals and empower them to address poverty challenges while fundamentally altering the systems perpetuating those economic inequities.

Our group found kinship amidst the brutal gender-based violence crisis hitting Vancouver’s DTES. We saw our friends suffer while community members were being undervalued and ignored.

We value peer expertise, non-hierarchical systems, and radical hope. We know that our communities already have the solutions to their challenges. They just need support in implementing them.
