Our Accomplishments
The Peer Manifesto to End Gender-Based Violence (GBV) in the Downtown Eastside (DTES) written in 2024 for the he Gender-Based Violence & Mapping Project.
We presented for an hour at the Care Not Cops Convergence in November 2024.
In 2024 we joined the CWFC Co-op Academy, started weekly co-op meetings, incorporated provincially, and opened a bank account!
In September 2024, Healing in Community Event. Our first event focused on uplifting women and gender-diverse folks who are part of the DTES community and are survivors of GBV. Our event included two cultural experts facilitating trauma-sensitive movement classes at an outdoor space.
In November 2024, we presented at the CBRC Summit in Vancouver.
We presented an Ignite Presentation at the 2024 CWCF Conference for Canadian workers' co-ops.
